System-Wide Visual & Operational Checks
- Check frame, mast, forks, and tires for visible damage
- Inspect safety decals, guards, and capacity plates
- Verify all controls respond normally and smoothly
- Review last service log and confirm monthly cycle timing
- Document total run hours and log inspection date
Diesel Engine & Fuel System Inspection
- Check oil level, coolant level, and fuel for contamination
- Perform cold start and check for excessive smoke
- Inspect air intake, turbocharger, and fuel filters
- Test engine under load and record RPM and vibration patterns
- Log anomalies and recommend corrective actions if needed
Hydraulic & Transmission System Checks
- Inspect all hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings for leaks
- Check lift, tilt, and side-shift functions under load
- Inspect transmission fluid level and perform shift test
- Listen for abnormal sounds in drive or mast operations
- Flush or top-off hydraulic/transmission fluids if needed
Brake & Safety System Verification
- Test service brakes and parking brake effectiveness
- Inspect brake fluid and pads for signs of wear
- Verify horn, reverse alarm, lights, and safety indicators
- Check seat belt condition and overhead guard alignment
- Ensure fire extinguisher is present, charged, and secured
Battery, Electrical & Exhaust Inspection
- Check battery terminals for corrosion and tightness
- Inspect alternator and starter function during crank
- Ensure exhaust system is leak-free and properly mounted
- Test all electrical systems including dashboard and fuses
- Clean battery terminals and apply corrosion inhibitor
Documentation & Reporting
- Record all findings and upload checklist to Oxmaint platform
- Note parts needing replacement or attention in next cycle
- Capture technician signature and inspection timestamp
- Submit compliance log for OSHA retention
- Schedule follow-up if corrective maintenance is flagged
