3. Brake and Safety System Testing

- Inspect fire extinguisher and operator guard structure.
- Ensure seatbelt, horn, and reverse alarm are functional.
- Confirm condition of load capacity plate and labels.
- Perform OSHA 1910.178(p) required safety checks.
4. Battery & Electrical System Inspection
- Clean terminals and inspect for corrosion or wear.
- Test battery voltage and charge output.
- Check wiring insulation and secure cable routing.
- Inspect lights, indicators, and electrical switches.
- Test alternator performance and starter draw.
5. Final Documentation & Compliance
- Fill out full checklist and save all findings.
- Upload data to fleet management platform (e.g., Oxmaint).
- Generate monthly report and submit to supervisor.
- Schedule any needed maintenance from findings.
- Ensure OSHA 1910.178(q)(7) documentation is met.
