Use this extended inspection sheet to monitor every critical system on your forklift daily. Includes diagnostics, battery, and OSHA logging.
Battery Monitoring
- Log kWh used per shift and discharge rate
- Check battery cell temp: IR thermal max ΔT < 7°C
- Log water refill date, voltage under load, and equalization history
- Verify BMS connection and record fault if alert present
Hydraulic & Mast Assembly
- Test tilt pressure PSI vs spec (log from digital gauge)
- Lubricate all zerk points and test side-shift limit stops
- Check free lift chain for slack, rust, or noise
SAS & Drive Alerts
- Test SAS indicator lamp on tilt restrict test
- Perform 5-point direction control test (fwd, rev, slow creep, lift, stop)
- Log SAS intervention status from panel
- Capture hour meter, trip distance (if available), and full stop distance
Safety & Reporting
- Verify fire extinguisher tag, seatbelt interlock, and horn
- Record visible decal condition, backup alert sound output
- Tag out and notify CMMS if critical alert or red panel light
