Hydraulic System
- Check hydraulic fluid level, color, and temperature
- Inspect lines for wear, routing, abrasion, and leaks
- Cycle tilt, lift, and auxiliary hydraulics under load
- Torque hydraulic fittings to spec
Transmission and Drivetrain
- Inspect transmission fluid level and color
- Test shifting and directional response under load
- Inspect drive shaft, axle boots, and mounts
- Check differential oil if accessible
Cooling System
- Inspect coolant level and top up if necessary
- Flush and replace coolant (if due)
- Check fan operation, belt tension, and radiator cleanliness
- Pressure test cap and cooling system
Brakes and Suspension
- Inspect service and parking brakes for wear and adjustment
- Lubricate brake linkage and test hold on slope
- Inspect leaf springs, bushings, and shock mounts
- Test pedal pressure and response time
Cab and Safety Features
- Inspect seatbelt and overhead guard for defects
- Test horn, beacon, backup alarm, and light operation
- Ensure load capacity plates and decals are intact
- Check mirrors, camera (if equipped), and clear visibility
Battery and Charging System
- Check battery water level and recharge if needed
- Clean terminals and apply anti-corrosion treatment
- Load test battery and alternator output
- Inspect wiring harness for frays and looseness
Final Checks
- Start engine and warm up to operating temp
- Drive and test all operational functions
- Document hours, report issues, and reset maintenance indicators
