- Access YVWA control panel and review current system status
- Check alarms and error logs for any active issues
- Verify key operating parameters such as temperatures and pressures
- Review energy consumption data and performance trends
Compressor & Refrigerant Checks
- Monitor compressor operation for noise, vibrations, or overheating
- Check refrigerant pressure and temperature against standards
- Inspect oil levels and condition; note any irregularities
- Look for signs of refrigerant leaks using approved detection tools
Water System Inspection
- Verify condenser and chilled water flow rates meet design conditions
- Monitor cooling tower operation and water treatment equipment
- Check water temperatures and differential pressures
- Inspect strainers and filters for blockages or fouling
Safety Device Testing
- Test alarm functionality and emergency shutdown systems
- Ensure pressure relief valves and switches are operational
- Verify safety interlocks and emergency stop circuits
- Document all test results and corrective actions if needed
Daily Documentation & Reporting
- Log all inspection findings, operational data, and corrective actions
- Update digital maintenance records via Oxmaint portal
- Flag any unusual performance issues for follow-up
- Submit completed daily report for supervisory review
